G-Funk Legend

Whoa! I always go to Yahoo.com and read a lot of the headline articles and 1 of the articles that caught my eyes was titled, G-Funk Legend Nate Dogg dead at 41. That's crazy! I guess from the article he had strokes in 2007 and 2008, but it is still unclear of how he passed.

I remember being in 6th grade and listening to "Regulators" and I still do til this day. It was such a catchy track, mostly with Nate Dogg on the hook and chorus. He certainly did have a unique voice that boosted and blended well into rap/hip hop tracks. He will be missed by the hip hop community and fans.

The Love for Music...or MuziQ!!!

I love Muziq and I sincerely think that music the one of the most, beautiful, honest, purest ways to express yourself. Music has no color, no solid form, there's no prejudice in it and whoever or whatever you want to talk about, you can express it through the power of music. It gives you your right to the 1st amendment of Free Speech. Hate it or Love it, but every artist or musician is entitled to it. Now you can't go off making death threats to The President or anything in that nature. I mean you can, but you'd probably get in trouble...hahaha. Music has sooooo many genres that it's amazing. Music is always and forever changing, forever evolving, and forever gonna live on. You just Don't Stop The Rock!

I believe in 2 types of music, there's Good Music and there's Bad Music. I don't hate any genres in general, no. Just don't have interest in certain songs, bands, groups, melodies, beats, etc...you get the drift. But I do not hate any 1 genre.

I love how artist from all different genres can express themselves, whether they're telling a story, sending a message or attacking a subject. You can talk about Love, you can talk about Life, Death, reminisce about childhood, friendship, family, war, peace, the world, and on and on. It just never stops, you cannot run out of ideas or subjects to talk about through music, neither can you avoid listening to music that wraps around all these subjects.

Music honestly brings people together. It's like a spiders web. It can reach corners of the world touching people of different life styles or backgrounds and connect them like a web. You see it all the time through concerts, radio play, forums, blogs, music award shows, etc...They talk about it, share ideas, opinions and what's Hot to what's Not. Everyone really can or just gets connected through music.

Could you really imagine if there was no such thing as Music?! I'd go insane and I'm sure 99.9% of all other people would too. LOL

Music is so natural, it touches people through the melody itself, the beat, drum pattern, riffs, and mainly the lyrics. It can change a persons emotions to being happy, calm, relaxed, to rage, anger, depression, and so on. That's how much power music has. I love it how you listen to a song that you never heard in a long time or since childhood and it brings back memories, a sense of nostalgia. Almost as deja vu sometimes. It's just natural.
